Dear Friends,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
As we reflect on the times we are living in, we see both great opportunities and profound challenges. Our region, Central America and the Caribbean, is blessed with a rich tapestry of cultures, languages, and traditions. Yet, like many parts of the world, it faces spiritual and societal challenges that require the light and hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The words of Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20 remind us of the Great Commission: to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey His commands. It is this divine mandate that drives our mission as Olivet Assembly in Central America and the Caribbean. We are committed to spreading the good news of salvation, sharing the transformative power of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection that grants eternal life to all who believe.
In our region, where many are searching for peace, purpose, and truth, we are called to bring the hope and joy found in Christ. By planting churches, supporting local communities, and engaging in charitable initiatives, we strive to be vessels of God’s love and instruments of His grace.
We firmly believe that every believer is uniquely gifted by God to serve His Kingdom. Our Assembly seeks to create opportunities for followers of Christ to use their talents to glorify Him, whether through ministry, service, or outreach. Together, as one body in Christ, we aim to build His church and strengthen the faith of our communities.
We invite you to join us in this sacred mission. Visit our churches, participate in our programs, and experience the abundant life that Jesus offers. Let us work together to shine His light across Central America and the Caribbean, transforming lives and glorifying God.
May the love of God and the peace of Christ be with you always.
In Christ,
Ezra Jo
General Secretary
